If you or your family is grieving a loved one, an animal companion or a child, please join us in this unique afternoon of education, connection and remembrance. Join Papillon families for lunch and an afternoon of art and music for healing.
Who Should Attend: This program is open to people of all ages who are grieving the loss of a loved one, an animal companion or a child, no matter whether the loss is recent or in the past.

Program Schedule:
11:00 to 11:15: Registration
11:15 to 12:00: Welcome and Opening Ceremony
12:00 to 1:00: Lunch
1:00 to 2:30: Small Group Sessions
- Kids & Teens: Art and story telling activities
- Adults: Small group discussion and activities
2:30 to 3:00: Closing Ceremony and Butterfly Release
Mt. Hermon
Grief takes people to unknown territory, a place that demands courage, trust, community and a willingness to keep trying when one feels overwhelmed.
Please join us in a one day Hearts DO Heal experience at the Mount Hermon Adventure Center in Santa Cruz. With expert guides, we will undertake the aerial and ropes course as a metaphor for the tenacity and bravery it takes to grieve deeply.
Cost & Registration:
$50 per person (Scholarships available. Lunch will be provided)
Registration is Required.
There are 8 slots for zip line and 12 for the ropes course
