This experiential and educational workshop is designed to show how meditation can help you deal with the difficult emotions of grief while staying grounded and present. We will practice several types of meditation, including mindful eating and walking meditation. This workshop is open to beginners and also to those who have been practicing but would like to better understand how mindful meditation can help with healing the painful wounds of grief.
Facilitated by Emily Nicholl, LCSW. Emily has been practicing daily meditation for over five years. She facilitates weekly meditation groups at Monterey County Social Services and currently manages the In-Home Supportive Services program for older adults and people with disabilities.
