The loss of a pregnancy or baby is profound and unique. Parental grief is devastating and unbearable and often times holds a greater risk factor for developing complications, more than any other type of grief. Perinatal loss is a lifelong process and the griever must learn to assimilate and love with their “new normal.”
Our Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Program offers comprehensive support for you no matter where you are in your journey, whether you just found out, whether you are still in the hospital or whether it has been many years since the loss of your baby. We are here to help.
Our program offers full support, education and resources to those who need them. We also offer continued support for at least one year after your loss.
Topics for discussion may include:
- How Dads grieve differently
- Grandparents grieve too
- I don’t have a baby, but still make breast milk
- Grief during holidays and family gatherings
- How to respond when people say hurtful or unfeeling comments
- Thinking about another baby or not wanting to think about another baby
There is no fee to attend. Registration is required.
